 GardenScribe began as an informal collection of plant information and facts compiled by author Theresa Morrogh. Theresa, an avid gardener, was always receiving compliments on her garden and being asked familiar questions like “What is the name of that plant?" and "When do you prune it?". Theresa soon realized her biggest gardening challenge was her own memory – remembering which nursery sold the best plants, which fertilizer to use, and all the other details about her plants. Theresa began to keep her own journals and when anyone would ask a question she would refer to them. It wasn’t long before she was being asked where to get a book like hers or could she make them for others – GardenScribe grew out of that. |

 Theresa began her professional career as a software developer and project manager in the financial services industry. She achieved a high level of success creating computer programs and solving complex “bugs”. After surviving Hodgkin's Lymphoma she made a decision to change her quality of life and quit her job to see what was going on in the outside world. She turned her love of gardening and eye for organization into a product that has quickly become a favorite among home gardeners. |
